2016 Forum – Managing Servers With Redfish

09 March, 2016 | Presentation

The Redfish specification is a DMTF standard for managing multi-node servers via a RESTful interface. Redfish defines a standard for users to receive telemetry and exert control on servers via a modern toolchain (HTTPS, JSON, OData). This presentation provides an overview of the Redfish model and interface. The Green Grid has been asked to review the protocol, so this presentation provides a good overview of what Redfish is, along with its value for server monitoring.
