mastering ibm systems products has never been easierThe IBM Academic Initiative gives educators no-cost toolkits filled with resources for teaching in-demand technology skills. Hundreds of universities around the world currently participate in two unique IBM Systems programs — the IBM Power Systems Academic Initiative (PSAI) and the IBM Z Academic Initiative. Both programs offer free access to robust course catalogs and cloud computing environments for teaching and/or research purposes. These valuable resources are available to faculty through their two unique storefronts at OnTheHub.  In addition, we help students land jobs through the PSAI entry-level job board and the IBM Z Career Center.

The IBM Innovation Center for Excellence (ICE) partners with universities to deliver rigorous training curricula that result in students earning industry-recognized credentials. Examples include the Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) and MBA, the IBM Certification in Advanced Technologies (iCat) and the Systems Center of Excellence (SCoE) certification program.  The ICE program offerings include tracks specific to technologies (including but not limited to mainframe computing, cloud computing and business analytics) and industry knowledge (such as banking informatics, cyber-security and forensics, oil & gas informatics.)

Be sure to learn more about what we have to offer and get details on these programs by visiting the IBM Systems Lab Services homepage.
