The Green Grid analyzed the survey results by data center size, by availability level, and by organizational role to try to note trends and provide a baseline for future surveys. The goal is to determine how organizations measure data center energy efficiency—if at all—and to fi nd ways to overcome obstacles to measuring energy usage.
