2014 Forum – eWaste for Fun and Profit

Sustainability concerns are becoming increasingly paramount to companies and data center owners and operators handling decommissioned electronics that have reached the end of their life cycle, often referred to as eWaste, properly. The IT Recycling Metric Task Force has been building an extended ‘FAQ’ for organizations that are now required to deploy initiatives and programs for managing these materials. This session introduces and reviews the new “IT Asset Disposition 101 for Commercial End-Users” white paper, as well as provide initial guidance on the deployment of a take back/recycling program. This session also includes subject matter experts who are available to answer questions about program details.
