In recent years, LCD (design for optimal operation, optimal cost, and improved performance throughout a building's life) has become a trend in general architecture. This is due to the shift towards buildings that consume more energy, rising energy costs, the impact of life cycle costs on business, the global goal of reducing CO2 emissions, and strengthening government policies and laws. We propose a life cycle design for data centers, which are heavily influenced by LCD, from the perspective of architecture and building facilities.
