Presentation
Based on the growth factors, challenges and environmental factors of data center clusters in the US, introduced in the keynote speech, we will discuss the challenges and responses of existing data centers (building-type and container-type) in Japan.
First, Equinix will introduce a project to upgrade air conditioners at an existing data center, which is essential from the perspective of lifecycle management, and we will discuss this together with the example of building-type data center.
We will further deepen the discussion by referring to related TGG WPs. The unknown benefits and challenges of the container-type data center in Matsue will also be presented, and we will deepen the discussion on the planning and operation of container-type data centers.
Finally, we will discuss the potential for data center clusters in Japan and consider the direction of data centers that are advantageous from a business perspective.
