- New security features: IBM Spectrum Protect has new ransomware detection and the ability to log and audit data for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) readiness, including across multiple clouds.
- New data compression enhancements: TS7700 16 GB IBM FICON support and enhanced data compression are now available.
- New online volume migration tools: Help simplify your migration from IBM XIV Gen3 to FlashSystem A9000/R.
