I’ve been flying a lot to Raleigh lately. Although I am waiting for the day when I can get a direct flight, at least I can book a flight that is an end-to-end trip on the same plane. Staying on the same plane is better for my sanity, and I am fairly certain that my luggage will arrive when I do.  These Southwest flights are pretty good, and now that I have mastered online check-in, I am a pro that is even occasionally rewarded with a free drink ticket!

Although this is my standard end-to-end, even smoother travel journeys are possible. An Uber can meet you at the airport, with an e-ticket for the local subway and a map to your morning meeting tucked inside your smartphone.  Then, of course, the payment and expense system would all be electronic and facilitated by your phone.
