Developing Innovative Approaches to Sustainable ICT Solutions Together

Roger Tipley

To say 2017 is off to an active start would be an understatement.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary and published our 72nd white paper and first-ever application note. To affect product design requirements and operational choices, we need your full participation in more than 15 new projects and our Government Engagement Committee.

The Green Grid remains committed to defining the paths toward more sustainable information and communications technology (ICT) solutions, and we are always looking for ways to deliver more value to our members.

Our members often tell me that one of our most valuable benefits is the opportunity to network with their peers, customers, and competitors and to tap into each other’s expertise. To that end, we have established a new LinkedIn forum, exclusively for Green Grid members. The forum is meant to be a resource for floating new ideas, sharing best practices, discussing the trends impacting our industry, and soliciting input from our collective knowledgebase.

As we enter into the second quarter, look for more opportunities to participate in The Green Grid and add your company’s voice to our industry-changing initiatives. It is imperative that we, as a group, represent the industry in the greater world community and work together to contribute to innovative approaches that increase efficiency, improve operations, and deliver more sustainable products and services. Please help shape our new projects, and let’s chart new territory at events like the May 17-18 Global Technical Committee Summit

Your all-volunteer board of directors thanks all who volunteer their time and expertise to create and review our projects. We are your aggregated voice, so please invite your colleagues to join us in The Green Grid. As our members will attest, you can make history by helping to decide how our industry delivers the promises of sustainable ICT.
