The ROI of Cooling System Energy Efficiency Upgrades

June 21, 2011

7:00-8:00am PDT and 4:00-5:00pm PDT

Please join fellow members of The Green Grid on Tuesday, June 21st for one of two Webcasts at 7:00am-8:00am PDT and 4:00pm-5:00pm PDT on the Operations Work Group’s latest deliverable, the ROI of Cooling System Energy Efficiency Upgrades Case Study.

This study examines the impact of energy efficiency improvements in the data center. It reviews the effects on PUE™ and ROI of five types of energy efficiency initiatives in the data center - installing VSDs, upgrading CRAH units, implementing rack airflow management, moving the CRAH control from the return air temperature to the rack inlet, and increasing the temperature setpoints of the CRAH and chiller units. The results of this study will allow TGG to provide operators a set improvement metrics and ROI models intended to assist data center operators with building credible business cases for performing energy efficiency improvements.

This webcast is part of a monthly, members-only Webcast series designed to help you learn about The Green Grid’s latest technical resources and tools and improve resource efficiency in your data center.  Members-only registration is now open! If you would like more information about attending the event, please contact TGG Administration.
