The Green Grid Monthly Members Webcast
Carbon Usage Effectiveness (CUE™) and Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE™) Sustainability Metrics
July 20, 2011
7:00-8:00am PDT and 4:00-5:00pm PDT
Please join fellow members of The Green Grid on Wednesday, July 20th for one of two Webcasts at 7:00am-8:00am PDT and 4:00pm-5:00pm PDT on the consortium’s Carbon Usage Effectiveness (CUE™) and Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE™) Sustainability Metrics.
The Green Grid has developed the CUE and WUE metrics to complement the series of metrics it has introduced in the past few years, which includes power usage effectiveness (PUE™), data center energy productivity (DCeP™), energy reuse effectiveness (ERE), data center compute efficiency (DCcE™), and others. Both are emerging as extremely important factors in the design, location, and operation of these facilities today and in the future.
The CUE and WUE metrics enable data center operators to quickly assess the water and carbon sustainability aspects of their data centers, compare the results, and determine if any energy efficiency and/or sustainability improvements need to be made.
This webcast is part of a monthly, members-only webcast series designed to help you learn about The Green Grid’s latest technical resources and tools and improve resource efficiency in your data center. If you would like to register for the webcast or need more information, please contact TGG Administration.
