Survey Results: Energy Efficiency of Japanese Data Centers
During this session, The Green IT Promotion Council (GPIC) will review the results of the 2012 and 2011 survey on Energy Efficiency of Japanese Data Centers conducted by The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan. The survey included data centers in Singapore and Vietnam, and measured not only energy efficiency in facilities, but also energy productivity of IT equipment in data centers. As a result of collaboration with The Green Grid, GPIC has developed a holistic approach to viewing energy efficiency in data centers.
