Participant Feature: Pam Lembke

About Pam:
Pam Lembke is a product compliance engineer at IBM in the Systems and Technology Group. She is part of a team responsible for product environmental compliance and stewardship for server and storage products. She also provides support for server installation planning and energy estimator tools. Prior to IBM, Pam worked in the automotive industry on material application development.

Pam was recently appointed as Alternate Director for IBM on The Green Grid’s Board of Directors and is a vital contributor to the organization’s Technical Committee. She is currently serving as Chair of the Power Sub Work Group under the Technical and Strategy Work Group and has contributed to many important white papers published by The Green Grid, including Case Study: The ROI of Cooling System Energy Efficiency Upgrades and Issues Relating to the Adoption of Higher Voltage Direct Current Power in the Data Center. She was also the recipient of The Green Grid’s Key Contributor Award in 2010.

Why Are You Involved In The Green Grid?
The Green Grid is an amazing collaborative effort between all aspects of the IT industry. TGG gives the ability for us all to hear and discuss energy and efficiency issues from every member's view point, which otherwise may not be possible. It is a great place to learn and to educate, to propose and discuss new solutions to problems, and work together to implement a future that is better for everyone.
