Charter

• Objectives
  • The objectives of the Advisory Council are:
    • to serve as an advisory body to the Board of Directors, providing input and guidance on the general direction of The Green Grid’s strategy;
    • to actively participate in Technical Committee activities and provide input on the Technical Committee program of work;
    • to help guide and shape the desired outcome of published materials, processes or recommendations from The Green Grid as the end-user community’s voice;
    • to drive greater awareness of The Green Grid within the broad community of data center end-users.
• Activities
  • To achieve the foregoing objectives, the Advisory Council is assigned and authorized by the Board to:
    • meet on a regular basis and liaise directly with The Green Grid Board of Directors as necessary;
    • perform any other tasks reasonably related to or necessary for achieving the foregoing objectives and activities or other tasks within the scope of the above objectives duly assigned by the Board from time to time;
    • identify and recommend potential spokespeople from the Advisory Council on behalf of The Green Grid, subject to Board approval.
