The Green Grid (TGG) is excited to announce that Climate Savers Computing Initiative (CSCI) has moved its programs and membership under TGG's brand to build on TGG’s success in improving resource efficiency in information technology and data centers. TGG and CSCI fused their separate but closely aligned resources together to accelerate the implementation of energy efficiency and sustainability within the IT and communications industries.
As an international consortium similar to TGG, CSCI focused on reducing carbon footprint of information and communications technologies. By welcoming CSCI’s experts and industry leaders into TGG's committees and technical work groups, TGG has the opportunity to progress with additional perspectives, increased collaboration and an expanded reach.

Sign Up for The Green Grid Sustainable Computing Initiative!
TGG would also like to introduce the Sustainable Computing Initiative (TGG SCI). This new program enables organizations to opt into a commitment to procure energy efficient computing and networking equipment and to use power management features in that equipment where possible. There is no fee to participate and all organizations, members and non-members, are invited to join this initiative. Sign-up is easy and available online.
Additional information about TGG SCI and the program criteria is available as part of the online TGG SCI agreement.
